Go do that. Now. If you've seen it already !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! about Kip Thorne's input.

On the way back, I notice a car without its running lights on. I use every tool in my arsenal to creep them out to make them aware of this. Flash my brights at them, drive slowly pass them with a disapproving look, toggle my running lights off and on a few times. It made no difference. Presumably because they were from Florida.

I need to get some free time and do this.

RE: the car, they probably just leave them on in general.

I saw the movie twice. First time at a somewhat run-down, family-owned theater near me that somehow also still had digital projection. It was already incredible there, movie of the year for me.

Then I went to the Airbus IMAX theater in the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy annex to see it in 70 mm.

Fucking. Amazing. You could feel every. single. pebble that struck the side of the truck or the spaceships, etc., and the image was HUGE and detailed. And, just before seeing the movie, I got to take a virtual tour of the Endurance with an Occulus Rift, and that too was phenomenal.

I waited with excitement for this film since it's announcement, and it was worth every penny.

The robots in that movie are the coolest robots I've ever seen in sci fi.

I was just reading some articles on the movie. Apparently a large portion of the robots were done on set with the voice actors acting as a kind of puppeteer. Bill Irwin voiced and operated TARS.

Me and the wife just saw it. No Imax though, must have been incredible. This movie is a mindfuck. Absolutely amazing.

Note to all filmmakers out there: Just stop. You will probably never exceed the amazing-ness of this movie. I feel like. I never again need to see another movie.
